Research Short Summary

My research focuses on the total lepton number violation throught the search of Majorana neutrinos. I'm a member of the CUORE and CUPID (National PI) experiments whose goal is the discovery of the neutrinoless doube beta decay with cryogenic calorimeters. I'm actually the Rome coordinator for the INFN Astroparticle Committee. At the beginning of my career I was involved in the study of CP violation in the KLOE and Babar Experiment with particualre attention to radiative penguine decays. I'm referee for different journals and insitutions (ERC,INFN, MUR, ANR, NERSC) and author of ~480 peer-review articles. I gave several talks at internationational conferences and workshops.

My teaching activity is mainly devoted to courses of general Physics (Mechanics, Probability and Laboratory) for the Bachelor Degree in Physics and lectures on Neutrinos and particle detectors at LNGS laboratory for the Masters' Degree in Physics.
